Our Everflex Fire Mate intumescent sealants swell when exposed to temperatures in excess of 125°C. Helping to prevent the passage of fire and smoke, these fire sealants have a fire rating of up to 4 hours in certain joint configurations, making them suitable for both residential and commercial buildings.
We've also produced intumescent putty pads. Designed to be used on the inside or outside of electrical socket boxes to maintain fire and smoke barriers where service holes have been cut into dry lining and all types of fire-rated boarding. Putty pads provide you with that additional peace of mind, should the worse happen.
