Fire-rated foam for the trade
Our fire-rated expanding foams are suited for use as a fire-resistant gap filler around pipe entries, windows, door frames and joints as well as fixing timber structures and insulating behind cladding to exterior walls.
Fire Foam B1 Handheld and Gungrade cartridges contain a quick-setting one-part polyurethane foam with fire-retardant properties. The foam is fire-rated up to four hours in certain joint configurations, expands on application to up to 50 times its original volume and meets the test criteria BS476 Part 20; Class B1.
Fire Foam B2 is also available as a handheld aerosol and in a gungrade canister. The foam expands on application 1.5 - 2 times its original volume and meets the requirements of DIN 4102 Part 1 for Construction Materials and BS476 Part 20. Fire Foam B2 is fire-rated up to two hours in certain joint configurations.
Products should be used in conjunction with Everflex Fire Mate Intumescent Sealant for maximum fire rating .
